The WELL Place plans to award one $1,000.00 scholarship to an African American girl who has been accepted and enrolls at an Historically Black College or University beginning the Fall of 2023. The student must have at least a 3.0 high school GPA and successfully completes the Fall 2023 college semester with at least a 3.0 GPA. She must also be a Brunswick, New Hanover, or Pender County, North Carolina resident. The scholarship will be sent to the enrolled school upon receipt of a qualifying grades /GPA report and the information necessary to credit the scholarship to the student's account. The Deadline is June 27, 2023.
